JOB DESCRIPTION

Life is short. And so is the attention span of our clients and prospects. As strategic business developer, you will be the face of the company. You will own and drive new prospects and opportunities for RELEX in the Americas. Working with the marketing and sales teams, proactive and reactive, the role is responsible to deliver innovative and compelling messages, coordinate campaigns and provide a world class experience to every prospect contacted. 

Being the first impression of the company, candidates must have exemplary work ethic, with experience in inside sales and lead generation. They must be able to understand product functionality and benefit for clients, be able to position RELEX solutions within the competitive landscape and ensure highest levels of opportunity generation.

KEY TASKS

Message Development

  • Keep awareness of all marketing updates and RELEX value proposition messages. 
  • Lead / Collaborate with marketing / Sales / Presales teams to constantly develop and optimize key RELEX messaging.  

Lead and Opportunity generation

  • Support the sales department through proactive marketing efforts/promotions, lead generation and nurturing, target account research and sales system administration.
  • Leverage skills to reach decision makers and market RELEX product offerings via cold calling, LinkedIn, email, direct mail, events, etc.
  • Identify and qualify prospects’ project needs, budgets, timelines and decision makers to hand over to the appropriate sales person.
  • Track relevant sales activities and maintain accounts and contacts in Salesforce and Hubspot, and help with and manage the live chat feature on website.
  • Participate in events to capture and follow-up on resulting leads.
  • Limited / Exception based travel

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Minimum 1-2 years inside sales with experience in the enterprise software industry.
  • Understand Retail and Manufacturing industry (Supply-chain concepts)
  • Proven-track record of exceptional lead generation results.
  • Experience working in a team sales environment.
  • Retail or Supply Chain experience a HUGE plus.
  • Experience with HubSpot and Salesforce is a plus
