Data Analyst

Lille, Hauts-de-France, France Full-time

RELEX is a fast-growing software company developing its own products that help retail companies plan and operate more efficiently. By accurately forecasting consumption of goods, we reduce inventory costs, increase availability and cut waste. One example of this is helping retailers eliminate spoiled food. RELEX is trusted by leading brands, and has offices across North America and Europe.

Here at RELEX we work in small teams where everyone’s input is valued. We believe in transparency and using common sense; putting an end to stupid things and treating your colleagues as your friends are some of our core values. We are serious about what we do, but don’t take ourselves too seriously. We get excited when facing new challenges where we can put our skills to the test, but make sure to have fun while doing so.

We are now looking for a Data Analyst to join our family of extraordinary people.

What you’ll be doing

As a Data Analyst, you’ll be performing challenging analyses and modelling the business impacts of our software for the world’s leading retail companies. On top of that, you will build configurations, and actively participate in various customer projects of the team. You will work closely with Customer Operations & Customer Success teams and carry your responsibility in presales' environment maintenance, as well as the daily sales support.

You will be working with the most important sales cases, so you can expect a challenging, fast-paced yet rewarding environment. You are proficient in working with and drawing insights from big data sets and interested in learning how to apply these findings into reality to drive commercial impact. As a Data Analyst, you should be able to work well in a team, but still be able to work independently and take responsibility of delivering quality work.

What you’ll bring to the table

At RELEX we love data and we have loads of it. You on the other hand have the required skills to analyze, draw insight and present your findings based on this data. In our daily work supporting sales cases around the world we face a variety of unique problems making clever and creative problem-solving skills vastly beneficial. Hence your most important assets are advanced problem-solving skills, ability to learn new things fast, and motivation towards strongly sales related work.

  • Sense for business: good understanding of customer needs and of how to simplify complex results into concrete outputs
  • Willingness to develop customers processes further
  • A proactive attitude towards work
  • Good organizational skills and work ethic
  • Fluent communication skills in French and English

Relevant degree programs include but are not limited to Information and Service Management, Physics, Mathematics, Automation & Systems Technology, Industrial Engineering & Management, Computer Science and Economics.
