(Senior) Account Manager Sweden

Summary

The (Senior) Account Manager leads, owns, and drives the strategy and execution of sales opportunities for allocated existing key customers in Sweden and possibly other Scandinavian countries. This role is responsible for growing sales revenue and ensuring high customer satisfaction within the assigned existing customers; including up- and cross-sell of new solutions.

Candidates must have experience in sales, managing named accounts, working with large customers and building strategic customer relationships. They should understand customer business, customer strategic initiatives and be able to position RELEX Solutions within the competitive landscape to ensure highest levels of customer value, satisfaction, renewal and expansion rates.

Key Tasks

  • Build long term, strategic relationships with customers by fostering a strong relationship as a trusted advisor
  • Up- and cross-sell of RELEX solutions
  • Facilitate the development of strategic account plans for all assigned customers to meet or exceed assigned business goals. E.g. identify business plan and account strategy, key decision makers, solution mapping, key performance indicators and budget constraints.
  • Work with customers to identify opportunities to meet business needs, increase customer value and grow partnership
  • Maintains an accurate, comprehensive and updated sales forecast
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty with customers
  • Develop compelling customer value propositions based on ROI cost/benefit analysis
  • Ensure the already provided business benefits of RELEX are widely known by customer management
  • Identify and utilize appropriate internal resources to engage in sales cycles
  • Serves as a resource for customer references and provides strategic customer insight including. current state of business, additional business opportunities, and challenges faced by the customer.

Task specific skills required

  • Minimum 3 years of experience and success in selling high value, long lead time enterprise solutions software (SEK 5M and above)
  • Proven sales quota attainment track record (SEK 5M annual quota achievement and above)
  • Experience and success in SaaS solution sales.
  • Demonstrated track record with Tier 1 and Tier 2 Retailers/CPG in developing and managing client partnerships and driving account activity
  • Proven business development skills and outstanding customer-focused Account Management skills.
  • Understanding of retail business and its cost and revenue drivers
  • Understanding of Retail optimization solutions and their competitive landscape
  • Knowledge and capability to understand optimization solutions including AI and Machine Learning

Education

B.Sc / BA degree equivalent required; M.Sc / MBA preferred

Location

Preferably in or near Stockholm. RELEX Sweden office is located Stockholm
Up to 50% travel may be required within Sweden and possibly other Scandinavian countries
